No, proof of Boston residency is not required at the time of application. However, as a requirement from the Department of Education, we must give lottery preference to residents of Boston, and all applicants who receive an offer of admission must submit a proof of residency document in order to officially receive the seat.

The department of elementary and secondary education describes sibling preference in MA charter schools as: Applicants who have a common parent, either biologically or legally through adoption.
Once one of children attends their first day at Match, the sibling will then receive sibling preference, which will likely move them closer to the top of the waitlist for their current grade. However, that does not mean that the sibling will automatically be admitted, as other siblings are also at the top of each waitlist, and siblings are only admitted if a spot is available in that grade.

To enroll in K1, the child must be 4 years old on or before September 1st of that school year.
To enroll in K2, the child must be 5 years old on or before September 1st of that school year.
To enroll in 1st grade, the child must be 6 years old on or before September 1st of that school year.
